As one of the UK’s most respected radioactive waste management companies, our bespoke services take the worry out of radioactive waste. From simple radioactive material collections through to consultancy and characterisation where we help you manage, identify and quantify your inventory.
Case Study: Disposal of WWII Spitfire Dial
A member of the public came into possession of a WWII radioactive Spitfire dial and contacted Eckert & Ziegler for help. They were keen to dispose of the item safely and responsibly, despite the regulations allowing disposal in normal domestic waste, so we decided to help them achieve their aim.
We provided our services free of charge, with our customer incurring only the actual disposal costs, allowing a safe and environmentally responsible solution to the problem.
